I chose Jeff to photograph my family and I during our vacation at Pawley’s Island and I couldn’t be happier! My grandmother has difficulty walking, and Jeff took the most beautiful portraits of her at Atalaya. Jeff was very professional, kind, and gave great direction. I highly recommend!

Jeff is an excellent photographer and has an amazing personality to boot. He did wonderfully with our whole family including my parents in law and toddler. So patient and accommodating - got the best photos of our daughter despite her not wanting to participate at all. Excellent value considering the experience and final product. 10/10!

Jeff was extremely friendly. He returned my call in 5 min, our son proposed to his gf and surprised us all so we were searching for a photographer last minute who could get us in while we were here on vacation. He got us in two days later. He responded to our texts almost immediately. The pictures look like they will be amazing. I highly recommend him if you are on vacation and need a photographer or you live here , his attention to detail was right on. I ll post again once we receive pictures but I m also thankful he edits all pictures and we will receive them all so we can order which ones we want , which I know we will struggle not to want prints of them all . 5 stars for sure . Thank you Jeff.

Hello there! I'm Jeff, your friendly neighborhood portrait photographer on Pawleys Island, SC. I've spent the better part of the last fifteen years behind the lens, and I'd love to share my perspective with you. Specifically, I want to talk a bit about why you might want to consider hiring a professional portrait photographer. And no, it's not just about getting high-quality images (though that certainly is a perk!). Let me tell you something, there's a lot more to professional portrait photography than meets the eye. Sure, we've got the gear and the technical know-how to produce stunning, high-resolution images. But, there's also a certain kind of magic that comes from working with a professional - a unique blend of experience, skill, and personality that can truly make you shine.

You see, a professional portrait photographer can do something that no smartphone or point-and-shoot camera can: make you feel at ease in front of the lens. That's right, a good photographer knows how to guide you, how to make you comfortable, and how to bring out your best. We've worked with all sorts of people, in all sorts of settings, and we've learned how to coax out those genuine smiles, those thoughtful expressions, those moments of pure joy. And trust me, that comfort and confidence will shine through in your photos.

Now, let's talk about engagement shoots. These are one of those precious milestones in life that truly deserve to be captured in all their glory. After all, this is the time when two people are on the cusp of a beautiful journey together - a time filled with love, excitement, and anticipation. As a photographer, it's an absolute joy to be able to capture these moments. Not only do I get to document the love between two people, but I also get to create something that they'll cherish for years to come.

I'd love to help capture your special moments. Whether it's an engagement, a wedding, a family shoot, or just a day in the park, I'm here to help you create lasting memories. Life is a beautiful journey, and I can't wait to be part of yours.

You will find the about page from my existing website between the “” below. You can use this section primarily for tone of voice and style as opposed to content. Make sure that all references to the self are in the first person singular, as I am the only photographer on my team. Please also ensure that there are no references to “our team” or “our photographer”. Instead, all writing should be coming directly from me. I would also like it to be quite down to earth and without lots of fluff and flowery language.
"Hey Friends !I am Jeff Wales based on Pawleys Island, SC! I've been a photographer for the past fifteen years, having started out taking photographs while traveling the world rock-climbing and bouldering. A husband and father of two young kids, now my utmost passion is documenting the energy and love of family and everyday life. I love capturing the beauty and authenticity in those "in between moments". Nomadic by nature, I am intrigued by meeting new people, visiting new places, and creating new life experiences. These are also the things in life that I find the most important, the most real, and these are the moments I strive to capture. "
